Chapter Twenty Three
Pulling in to the drive way, the whole house looked like it was in complete and utter darkness… which was weird. There was always SOME ONE here, like all the time. Especially this late at night. I looked over at Chris, clearly confused.
‘I paid for every one to go out and have fun tonight, I wanted some time with you to myself’. Awww, that was cute, but surely it would have been cheaper to maybe… just book us a hotel? Either way, I didn’t care, it was still a very sweet and very cute gesture.
