Chapter Twenty Six I waited all after noon for Chris to come up and speak to me, but he didn’t, I could hear every one down stairs talking, or rather shouting, and laughing, and just sounding like they were having a good time, As pathetic as it sounded, I even sent him a couple of text messages asking him to come up stairs to talk to me.  He ignored them.  I didn’t want to go down stairs like this, visibly upset and ruin every ones good time. I didn’t think I was over reacting, I didn’t ask him to turn his phone off, he did that himself. It wasn’t my fault he could have missed the birth.
