Chapter Twenty Nine
I sat in the waiting room and looked around at the other people waiting for their appointments, it didn’t upset me that I was here alone. I made a choice, and I stick by what I did and what I decided. I’d never regret that. I’ll never regret leaving Chris.
Thankfully, I wasn’t kept waiting for to long, before the doctor came out and called my name. Bumping the year old gossip magazine back down on the table, I stood up and followed the doctor back in to one of the little rooms in the corridor.
As soon as we walked in, My eyes quickily adjusted to the weird lights.
The usual long chair/ bed and all the machines were waiting. This was some thing I had been dealing with for the past few months, but luckily, I didn’t have much longer to wait.
