Chapter Six Teen
Sitting down at the table, It was Nice that every one is here together. All our friends, family, Its really sweet. After we ordered our food, it was just a waiting game, Every one was talking until...
'So, your Tracy's mum and dad huh?' I looked up when I heard that, Why was Janet talking to my parents. My mum nodded at her. 'Awww....then it must have been a massive disappointment when she told you about sleeping with my husband only a day or so after she had met him. That's the problem with kids these days'. My mum and dad just looked at me. Every one at the table went quiet. 'Oh excuse me, I need the ladies room. This baby is playing havoc on me' She smiled sweetly at me and got up and walked away.
'Is that true Tracy?' I opened my mouth and closed it again, I looked like a fish. 'Tracy, I asked you a question! Did you sleep with him?' I looked down but nodded.
'You slept with my daughter?' I heard my dads voice, clearly talking to Chris. 'My daughter!?!'
'I-I-I....It wasn't like that, I swear, Mr-' Chris' explanation was cut off when My dad leaned over and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him across the table.
'Let him go!' Ryan pulled on my dad's arm, trying to make him let Chris lose, but It didn't work.
'Dad! Leave him alone. It wasn't his fault!!' All of a sudden, He let him go and looked at me.
'No, You are right, It is yours, you were here not even a week, not even three days and you were jumping into bed with the first MARRIED guy you saw. His wife is pregnant, Tracy what the hell are you playing at?!?!' Every one was still silent.
'Dad, Janet wasn't around and none knew she was pregnant then...I think...' I looked at Chris, but he shook his head.
'Ohhh.. So that's meant to make every thing OK?'. Every thing was sounding worse and worse by the second, So I just gave up. He can't judge me, It's not like he's so perfect. Every one sat back down as the food arrived. People started eating but My parents wouldn't even look at me, they just started talking to Sue and Don in hushed tones.
I just sat, staring at my food in front of me, until I felt Chris' hand on my knee. I looked at him, he was looking at some thing else, but I saw him smile sweetly at me. I moved my hand slyly under the table and grabbed his, pushing it off my knee. He got the message and moved it away, but i grabbed it in mine and held it. Moments later, I felt my phone vibrate, Taking it out, I read it, surprised to see it was off Chris
'Hey, I'm sorry Janet was such a b***h to you and told your parents about us. xxxx' I smiled and texted back.
'Oh, there's an us now ;) xxx'. As soon as I saw he read it, I looked at him for a quick second, He looked down at me out the corner of his eye and smiled a crooked smile.
'Um....I'm not so hungry any more, Do you mind If I just go back to the house please?' I asked, my parents just looked at me, but didn't answer.
'Of course, you can honey. Um...Chris, since your the only one who hasn't had a drink, can you?' He nodded and we got up and left the table. Chris wasnt the only one, Don hadnt had a drink either, but obviously, he had to stay with the group. Surprisingly, my parents didn't even object to it. As we walked out the dining bit, we bumped into Janet.
'Wow, watch it Tracy, Pregnant woman here!'. I was so tempted to smack her around the face, but I managed to resist it.
'What the f**k was that all about. Why did you tell her parents that we slept together Jan?!?!?!' She smiled.
'Oh Chris, you can't honestly care about her?' He grabbed my hand and pulled me to his side, it kinda shocked me a little.
'I care about her Janet, Whether you like it or not, she's my girl friend now. I want a divorce. When you get back to mine tonight, get your crap and get out of my house, I don't care if you are carrying my child or not when it's born, I'll take you to court and take him away from you. You don't deserve to have a child Missy. The sooner you pop out that kid, the sooner you can get the f**k out my life!!!' With no more words to a very shocked Janet, Chris pulled me around her and out the restaurant.
