Kill her

“Explain to me, how a teenage girl managed to beat all of you and almost escape!” Julian yelled. He was pointing at all of them one by one now. “If I had been here a second late, she would have escaped!” “We are sorry boss.” they muttered. Their heads were down, nobody dared to look at him in the eye. “Sorry? When the boss comes say you’re f*****g sorry to his face and watch what it does to all of you.” he said, walking closer to all of them. “Who brought her here?” Julian asked, scanning their faces. “So she appeared from thin air?” he asked, his voice full of mockery. “I think she must have sneaked into our train, boss.” Adam, one of the men answered. “F***! Damien would kill you all.” Just then they heard the sound of an engine. Everyone straightened stiffly, their backs became straight like soldiers. Even Julian looked at the men pitifully... he knew what was coming. The warehouse was completely silent as Damian walked in. You could hear a pin drop and the sound of their breathing could easily be heard. “Damien. “Julian greeted, stepping aside. His face was hardened as a rock, as he looked at his men. His eyes quickly darted to Precious, who was tied up in a chair. “Who’s she?” His deep, terrifying voice came. “We have no idea, sir. She sneaked into our train. Adam quickly answered, swallowing hard. Damien hated silence when he asked a question. “Who did she say she was?” He asked, his gaze fixed on her. “We haven’t gotten a word from her, Sir.” Another answered. Damien walked towards her. And crouched down just below her, studying her face. “Wake her. “He instructed, and immediately one of them went to fetch a bucket of cold water. The man ran like his life depended on it. He came back, raised the buckets above her head and emptied it. Precious eyes snapped open at once. And she started gasping, The cold water instantly making her body shiver. She closed and opened her eyes for some seconds, taking in the scene in front of her. “Who sent you?” Damien’s cold voice came. Precious slowly looked up at the owner of the voice, and for a brief second she was stunned. He was tall and had grey eyes... though they looked cute but they were cold. Damien crouched down in front of her again. “Who sent you?” He repeated, slower this time. “And who the hell are you?” she asked, her voice was weak but her eyes were strong, showing no sign of fear. The men looked at each other in shock, their mouths opened a bit. Nobody, I repeat nobody, has ever dared talked or challenge Damien that way. They all looked down quickly. Like they didn’t want to see what would happen next. Damian’s face carried seriousness, He kept his gaze on the girl in front of him. “Do you know who I am?” He asked. His voice was still calm. Precious scoffed. “The same goddamn question every time! You know, you rich people need to learn some manners. Just because you are rich doesn’t mean you should be stupid too." she continued, ignoring the scared faces of the men in the room. “Why are you so shocked? You expect me to beg? Now listen very well, as long as you are not God or Jesus Christ or the holy Spirit I do not give a f*** who you are!” “And what if I’m your god?” he asked, expressionless. “Then f**ck you!” she spat. Julian looked speechless, Where did this girl buy her audacity from? Damien slowly stood up and walked away from her. He didn't utter a word for a while, he just walked to the other side of the room but eventually he turned back to her. “Kill her!” he ordered, showing no mercy. Two of his men slowly approached her, Even though she was still tied to the chair, they were still afraid of her. “May I know what method you plan to use?” She asked, tilting her head a little, like he had just asked her what variety of food she would like. The men stopped in their track, their gaze darting from the girl to Damien. Damien smirked for the first time, he knew her tricks. She was just trying to act tough. “What method would you like?” he asked. “Thank you,” she started. “I would prefer a fast, less painful method. Like… within seconds, I would just be dead.” “Is that possible please?” She pleaded, her face softening for the first time. Damien looked at her with an intriguing interest, he was the type that read people’s actions and this girl in front of him looked serious. “And why would you prefer to die in my hands?” he asked. Precious face softened again. “I won’t go to hell that way. You know committing suicide is also a sin, but… if you kill me I’d be able to finally rest in heaven.” her voice became soft like a child. Damien just stared at her, flabbergasted and intrigued at once. Nobody ever talk to him like this. No one ever asked to die in a particular way... how could she just accept death? “What’s your name?” His voice was lower now, less cold.
