Chapter 2

The feeling of nervousness and excitement mixed into one when I kissed Axel's soft lips. I pulled off my face and looked at his sleeping face, mentally sighed in relief feeling glad because he doesn't wake up.

I sat in the edge of his bed and touched my lips. The temperature of my face still high, same goes with my heart. It's not yet calmed down yet still beating hard like crazy. I looked at Axel's sleeping face then sighed.

"Jesse?" Called Axel with his raspy voice made my heart skip a beat in fear.

I stiffly turned my head at him but my eyes immediately moved to his lips. "Y-yes?" I said as I shift my gaze somewhere else.

"Is dinner ready, yet?" He asked lazily. I nodded awkwardly.

"Yes."

Axel looked at me weirdly for a brief second then gets up from bed to touched my face with his finger.

"What's wrong?" He asked in worry while tracing his finger on my cheek checking my temperature.

I hold his finger with my hand and smiled awkwardly at him. "It's nothing brother, really..." I said reassuring him.

He looked at me confusingly but I just brushes it off, release his finger from my grip and stands up from his bed. "Let's eat before it's getting cold brother." I said then walking out from his room leaving him dumbfounded.

I closed the door behind me then traced my hand on my cheek where Axel touched earlier then slowly moved to my lips. Even now, I still can feel the softness of his lips on mine. Never thought a kiss will be addicting because of its sensation.

I heard Axel's footsteps towards the door make me hurried myself to move to the dining room. I listened the sound of the door closed on my way and mentally groaned because of the awkward feeling I feel everytime I look at his face.

I sit on my seat in the dining room and see Axel arriving there as I opened the wine bottle. I poured the wine on my glass. Axel looked at me as he sat down then lift his empty glass and offers it to me asking to be filled too. I poured the wine on his glass without looking at him.

I put the wine bottle after I'm done and hold my eating utensils. Axel's eyes still staring on me as he smelling the scent of wine on his glass. The nervousness starting to eat me alive. I sliced my steak slowly and I could felt his gaze on me as he drinking his wine.

I opened my mouth and put a piece of steak. Silently look at him. He still staring at me while he slice his steak make me unable to chew the meat properly.

I coughed a little and put the knife down to take my glass of wine, slowly drinking it. I silently steal a gaze on him. He didn't stare at me anymore make me feel a bit of relief. My gaze slowly move to his mouth as he opened his mouth making me gulp unconsciously.

He suddenly move his gaze towards me making my throat tighten and almost choked on my food. Thankfully I managed to swallow the food then rushing to drink the wine.

"You are-" Axel said suddenly made me a bit startled. "Acting a bit weird. Why is it?"

"It's... It's nothing brother." I replied without looking at him. "Probably I just tired." Axel furrowed a bit.

"Is that so? Then just rest after you done, I will do the cleaning." He said then continue to eat his dinner.

I nodded. "Yes, thank you brother." He hummed and I continued to eat my food, trying hard not to glance at him.

I lied my body on my bed then hold my stomach. The nervousness I felt while ate my dinner earlier cause an indigestion. I cursed at myself for not able to control my gaze towards his lips. Yes. In the end I couldn't control myself and kept staring on Axel's lips in every chance I had made Axel judged me weirdly.

I hit my forehead few times, cursing myself. "I'm so stupid."

But, it's really good, the kissed I mean...

My phone which is I left on my bed starting to vibrate. I lazily reached for my phone wondering who might it be and looked at it. "Ah, it's a message from Will."

'Tomorrow at 8 PM. Dress handsomely 'kay bud ♡'

"Tomorrow?" I asked myself then checked the calendar on my phone. "Oh.. We don't have class tomorrow." I said while scratching my head. Of course I will forget since my mind is full about that thing even until now.

I put my phone back on my bed. "Where is he going to drag me to?" I wonder feeling a bit sleepy. "Well, whatever." I said softly and closed my eyes.

A soft knock on my door didn't awake me a bit since I'm sleepy and I don't want to looked at him yet because I will just make the fool of myself again. After waited for a more second he opened the doorknob slowly showing Axel behind it. He looked at my direction for a second before walked slowly towards me.

He touched my forehead with the palm of his hand it felt really nice made me losing my consciousness immediately.

The sounds of bird chirping awaken me. I groaned a bit and turned my body to reached at my phone which is I put on my bed since last night but then I stopped searching for my phone and get up, confused at the blanket that covering my body.

"When did I-" I muttered but then a hazy memory of last night before I fell asleep come into my mind. I smiled.

A knock on my door startling me a bit. I turned my head towards the door and answered. "Y-yes."

The door opened, showing my mom behind it. "Oh! You already awake."

"Good morning, mom." I greeted her while smiling.

She smiled and walked closer towards me. "Good morning baby." She said then kissed my forehead. I giggled a bit.

"Get up and eat your breakfast. I already made yours." She said while stroked my cheek. I nodded.

"Okay, thanks mom." I said as she walked towards my laundry basket and carried it. She turned towards me then smiled before she left my room.

I get up from my bed, take my phone to charge it then fix my bedsheets before walk into the bathroom.

"You seemed out of your mind since we met." A soft voice awake me from a daydreaming.

I looked at the girl in front of me. She is wearing a crop top showing her defined belly with a black skinny jeans. This girl has been glued on me since I don't even remember when. Her name is Clara.

"I'm sorry. Did you said something earlier?" I asked while smiling towards her. She blushed a little.

"It's alright. I just asked if you could accompany me at my home after this." She said softly while stirred her apple juice with a straw.

"Why?" I asked then drinking my latte.

She stopped stirring her apple juice then stand up, slowly bending her body towards me. "My parents won't be at home for a week, so, will you come over? I just bought a lingerie and I want to show it to you." She whispered seductively.

I hummed softly then looked at her flushed face. She bite her lips trying to turn me on. I smiled.

"Please do." I whispered back at her and she slowly hold my hand to drag me out from the cafe. She must be really happy because her effort is finally paid off.

I sit on the sofa on the living room feeling tired after doing the cleaning. My parents already left the home after received a call from work leaving me alone. Forget to asked them where my brother is.

I sighed then pulling my phone out from my pants searching for my brother contact. He probably with his friends somewhere so I will just ask him to buy me something on his way home. I need to reward myself for watching over our home.

I clicked his contact and put my phone on my ear waiting for him to pick up.

'Jesse? What's wrong?' Axel asked in raspy voice.

"Brother, can you buy me crispy chickens on your way home?"

He groaned made me furrowed a bit. 'A- a yeah... Sure Jesse. I will-' He suddenly moan on my ear make me shocked a bit. 'Clara, I'm on phone.' He said and I stunned.

'Sorry Jess, I will buy it for you later, okay?' He said before hanging up.

I pulled my phone from my ear and looked at it. I could feel the pierce on my heart and my eyes starting to feel warm.

"So, he is with her... " I muttered softly with my tears starting to fell down on my cheeks.
