Alpha Alex P.O.v

I listen intently on the dominance and strength that Melanie commands. She looks so much like her mother, but her aura is identical to her fathers. I have no doubts after her powers show and she learns to control them she will be unstoppable a force just like Ethan. “Dad” speaking of the devil he decides to mind link me.

“Yes son”

“Where are you?”

“Did you forget about the gala for the black heart family to night?”

“Damnit yes I did.”

“Would have helped if I had reminded you?” I ask knowing it would not change anything,

“No Father I have a pack and a kingdom to run. I also have a mate to find, I do not have time to make kissy faces and stupid protocols with Velma blackheart.”

“How do you know that you mate isn’t here?”

“I hardly believe my mate is a vampire dad. I know you and Uncle Vincent always hoped that his daughter and I were mates, but that ship sailed when I met that brat.”

My laughter shook our link, “Ethan he had more than one daughter!” There was a long pause, and he could tell he struck a chord with his son. “What witches brew got your tongue?” He asks.

“I still find it hard to believe. Make sure that old hag Queen doesn’t kill ya old man and let me know when you are headed back.” He cut the link, that boy is such a hot head. He thought.

Elsewhere Ethan p.o.v

“Old man” He grumbled to no one even though he wasn’t alone.

“What did he say?” questioned Hunter his gamma.

“That he is at the party with the Blood suckers.”

“I can’t believe he went” Hunter laughed helping himself to my grapes.

“He was very close to the former king, and queen. He doesn’t share my disdain for them.”

“Why do you hate them so badly? I know why I do not like them but what’s the real story Ethan?”

We were just sitting around casually so I don’t mind him being so laid back, “Hunter” I grumbled. “The story is they are responsible for my father’s injury and his early retirement. They nearly killed out our race. They are conceited, they think they are untouchable and with the amount of our lives they have taken I do not trust them. It is because of them I had to become the Lycan king so young.”

“I get that dude and I’m sorry.”

“What dad doesn’t seem to understand is this packs need for a Luna. My wolf is driving me crazy he is impatient as hell.”

“You will find her man when the time is right.”

“When father returns, I am going to travel. I have several packs lined up to visit to see if I can find her within them. Usually, an alpha finds his mate within a year of shifting maybe two tops but where I shifted so young those rules don’t apply for me. However, my wolf matured a long time ago and we should have been able to sense our mate. She is obviously not in this pack. So perhaps she will be in an ally’s pack.

“What If Luna is not a wolf?”

“What? You sound like my dad.”

“The crowned king of Lycans mate would have to be equally as powerful right?”

“I guess but power means nothing to me.”

“Nonetheless, Alpha This is only a suggestion, but the young princess that is getting her powers this evening could be very power say power enough to be our Luna.”

“What makes you think that the spoiled brat vampire princess is a good fit for me much less for a Luna?”

“I wasn’t talking about her rumor has it there is another a second princess that the crowned princess is the spitin image of the former queen.”

“Another” He had thought his father was joking just to try to get him to show up. He had never seen any other royal black heart children other than Jasamine the dramatic and Vincent jr the dumbass. He thought.

“Yes alpha”

“Tell me more”

“The rumor is that the elder sister has an aura the elders say is so powerful that she could bring the queen to her knees if she could learn to control it. The queen has kept her guarded and studying to take over both covens the blood suckers and the witches that’s why we haven’t seen her. Before the Queens untimely demise, it is said that the elder daughter had spent most of her younger years in the Andromeda covens at the Hollow.”

“The hollow?” Ethan had heard of it but couldn’t seem to remember what the hollow is.

“Yes, your highness, the hollow. How much do you know about the previous Queen?”

“Only what my dad has told me. Why don’t you just go ahead and tell me what you know.”

“Well, the previous queen of vampires was also the Queen of all the witches and like her husband the king of vampires who was also the head of his specific coven she was also the head of one of the oldest covens in the world The andromeda Coven who reside in The Hollows it’s a realm all its own in the mountain ranges of Greece. Some say they are from the times when the ancient Gods and Goddess walked the Earth. So there for it is assumed the Hollow is cloaked because at the time of the ancient God left to return to the Godly Realm, they left the Andromeda coven on mt Olympus.” Ethan who had been listening intently began to laugh hysterically.

“You had me Hunter, you almost got me, Mt Olympus.”

Hunter stared at him puzzled, “Why are you laughing?”

“Mt. Olympus” Ethan struggled for breath.

“I’m sorry Ethan, Alpha but I fail to see the humor.”

“You want me to believe that the Queen of all vampires has twin granddaughters and one of them was kept on mt Olympus until her mother who was the queen of witches died.”

“Yes Alpha”

Ethans patience and laughter had subsided “Hunter…”

The gamma interrupted “Your highness I am hybrid as you remember. My father a wolf your father’s gamma and my mother a witch. I am from the Andromeda Coven, and you are insulting my princess and my childhood friend. I am not supposed to tell anyone but as you are a royal yourself and I have pledged loyalty to you both. I feel I can trust you. I have no proof I guess that my friend was the vampire princess, but she was the princess of the witches who was rumored to be the vampire princess twin as well.”

“I’m sorry but Hunter I am confused.”

“I was telling you about the rumor of the mysterious twin vampire royal that was rumored to be my princess from my coven. My childhood friend from The Hollow. I went there on my winter break from here to study my craft with my mom. My childhood best friend was a powerful young witch name Melanie. She was rumored to be a double princess. I assure you Alpha I am not making this up or trying to make fun or anything. While I’m confused on what I am allowed to say or should say I feel in my heart and so does my wolf that it is important that you know all this.” He glared.

“You mean my father wasn’t joking there is a second child born to king Vincent sr and queen Victoria? I heard their children where gifted but don’t remember it being because there were witches.”

“Queen Victoria was turned but kept her gifts. The two entities Vampire and witch were combined. After her death however Queen Victoria younger sister Queen Rayne took the throne albeit reluctantly for a short time. She left awhile back she still looks after things, but she works closely with Queen Blackheart and moves realms I heard she met her mate, and her daughter was half fae and that is why she isn’t titled to take the witch’s throne. The crown princess of vampire shall ascend both thrones. Another reason I think Melanie my friend Is the mysterious daughter is that she left the hallow after Queen Victoria’s death and hasn’t been back.”

“It is a very compelling tale. Why would they keep a child secret and not all the children?

“I don’t know dude, but I think it would be pretty awesome how close your father was to the king and queen if you did get mated to the double Queen.”

“Double Queen?” Ethan repeated.

“Yea whoever the elder daughter is would be the reigning Queen of vampires and witches. then being mated to you would make her the Lycan queen too. Making you both rule over a unified realm.”

“Too bad were not I’d love to see the look on that old hags fac…” Ethan was interrupted suddenly struck with pain radiating though his chest, he double over hitting his knees.

“Ethan” Hunter helped him back into his chair “What’s wrong.”

“I don’t know I feel like my heart is being ripped out or crushed.” He grunted, trying to slow his heartbeat and catch his breath.
