one ride with senzo "Betrayal"

1381 Words
Senzo decided to leave me amidst the chaos. His wife was furious, and people were taking pictures and videos of us. I was trending. The public was demanding to see the child we were talking about. Senzo decided to reach out to silence the crowd that was calling him names and attacking him on the streets. He had to clean up the mess, but I ignored his calls. Then, our baby, Lunar, was returned to me. Since he was raised by my mom, I was overjoyed to see him. He called me 'mommy' for the first time. I cried out, 'Oh, my sweet baby!' 'Mommy, is it true you don't want me?' he asked, making me cry more. 'No, child. Who said that?' I asked. 'Grandma's angry neighbor,' he replied. 'She was just angry, baby?' 'Mommy, is it true Daddy doesn't want me?' he asked again. 'No, child. No! Who said that?' I asked, panicked. 'People on the train,' he said. I had to agree to Senzo's negotiation for the sake of my baby's mental health. I had to come up with a plan. So, I called him over so we could talk. Our child was happy to see his father for the first time. Senzo even cried seeing him. 'Oh boy, he looks exactly like you,' his wife added. The wife took the baby away to give us space. 'So here's the thing,' Senzo said. 'I'll pay lobola and damages. You'll be my second wife, and you'll stay with me and my first wife. Is that fine?' I nodded. His wife kept patting my son's head with a smile; she seemed to love him like her own child. 'She loves kids?' I asked. 'Yes, unfortunately, she can't give birth,' Senzo replied. 'Why?' I asked. 'She's infertile,' she answered. 'I've made peace with it already.' Senzo decided to leave me amidst the chaos. His wife was furious, and people were taking pictures and videos of us. I was trending. 'She's infertile,' she answered. 'I've made peace with it already.' Everything went well. Senzo paid my bride price and damages, and we relocated to his home. At first, everything seemed fine. We all lived together in harmony – or so it appeared. However, the problem began when Senzo developed strong feelings for me. He gave me more attention than his first wife, and she grew jealous. They would often quarrel about it, with her constantly saying, 'Is it because I'm barren? You prefer her because she can give you children, right?' Senzo would try to reassure her, saying, 'That's not true, my love. You're the one I married first. You're my primary wife.' But his actions spoke louder than his words. He spent more time with me, taking me out on romantic dates, buying me expensive gifts, and showering me with affection. He also showed immense love to our son, Lunar. He would play with him, read him bedtime stories, and take him on fun outings. Lunar, in turn, adored his father and would often cling to him, calling him 'Daddy.' This further fueled the first wife's jealousy, as she felt left out of their bond. As time passed, the first wife became increasingly lonely. She would often sit by herself in the living room, staring blankly at the TV or reading a book. She stopped participating in household chores, leaving me to handle everything on my own. She would barely touch her food, and her health began to deteriorate. Senzo, however, didn't seem to notice his first wife's struggles. He was too caught up in his new relationship with me. He would often tell me how much he loved me, how I was his soulmate, and how he wished he had met me before his first wife. I would listen to his words, feeling both guilty and flattered. Guilty because I knew I was causing tension in the household, and flattered because Senzo's attention made me feel desired and loved. One day, as we were getting ready for bed, Senzo turned to me and said, 'I want to take you and Lunar on a vacation. Just the three of us.' I was taken aback by his suggestion, knowing it would further alienate his first wife. 'Senzo, are you sure that's a good idea?' I asked. 'Your wife might feel left out.' woke up to an unfamiliar sight – a ditch. I was lying on the ground, my head throbbing with pain. As I slowly sat up, I realized I was far away from home. Panic set in as I tried to recall how I ended up there. The last thing I remembered was packing bags for our son, Lunar, as Senzo had asked me to do. We were going on a vacation, just the three of us. I had been excited to spend quality time with my son and husband, despite the tension it had caused with Senzo's first wife. I stood up, brushing off the dirt and leaves from my clothes. I looked around, trying to get my bearings. I was in a remote area, surrounded by trees and bushes. There were no buildings or cars in sight. I was completely alone. I tried to remember what had happened after I finished packing. I recalled Senzo coming into the room, smiling at me. He had said something about being ready to leave, and I had nodded. Then... nothing. My memories stopped there. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. I had to think clearly. I had to figure out where I was and how to get back home. I started walking, hoping to find a road or a town nearby. As I walked, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. I had a nagging sense of unease, a feeling that I was in danger. I quickened my pace, my heart racing with fear. After what felt like hours, I finally saw a road in the distance. I ran towards it, hoping to find someone who could help me. As I reached the road, I saw a car approaching. I waved my arms, hoping to flag it down. The car stopped, and a kind-faced woman rolled down the window. 'Are you okay?' she asked, looking at me with concern. I nodded, still trying to catch my breath. 'I... I don't know what happened,' I said. 'I was on vacation with my husband and son, and then... I don't know. I woke up in a ditch.' The woman's expression changed from concern to shock. 'Get in the car,' she said. 'I'll take you to the police station. They'll help you find your family.'
