Episode 5: "A Safe Haven"
Nneoma and Ikenna ran through the winding streets of the town, their hearts pounding in their chests. They finally reached Aisha's house, a small but cozy cottage on the outskirts of the town.
Aisha, a kind-hearted woman with a warm smile, welcomed them with open arms. "Come in, come in," she said, ushering them into her home. "You're safe now."
Nneoma and Ikenna collapsed onto the couch, exhausted and relieved. Aisha quickly made them a hot meal, and as they ate, she listened to their story.
"I'll help you," Aisha promised, her eyes shining with determination. "You can stay here with me until we figure out what to do next."
As they rested and recovered, Nneoma and Ikenna realized that they had found a true friend in Aisha. She was willing to risk her own safety to help them, and they were grateful for her kindness.
But as they settled into their new temporary home, Nneoma couldn't shake off the feeling that they were not safe yet. Ikenna's family could still find them, and she knew that they would stop at nothing to bring them back.
As the episode ended, Nneoma and Ikenna were seen sitting on the couch, holding hands and looking into each other's eyes. They knew that they still had a long way to go, but for now, they were safe, and they had each other.
But just as they were about to relax, there was a knock at the door. Aisha got up to answer it, and as she opened the door, Nneoma and Ikenna saw a figure standing in the shadows. Who was it?
