Levious's POV

I decided to return to the room with several arrows in my right hand. I placed the arrows near the door and walked inside to find the woman who was now officially my wife.

I opened my robe and began walking toward the bed to lie down. Before I could fully collapse onto the mattress, I noticed a bloodstain there.

My right hand touched the dried bloodstain. “But why did she seem calm and not in pain throughout our game?”

Suddenly, I heard the sound of water from the bathroom and realized that Agleria was cleaning herself there. I gave up on lying down because I was afraid that she would feel uncomfortable with my presence after what we had been through a few hours ago.

"I don't feel well, I feel nauseous." I lifted myself from the chair and picked up the quiver of arrows I'd placed near the door. My focus wasn't very good today, and even my mood was telling me the same thing.

I left the room and decided to rest in the king's special chamber. I didn't allow anyone to enter this room without my permission; even the king's special guards were only allowed to stand guard at the door.

"King Levious."

My eyes fluttered open in one fell swoop, without moving. I'd accidentally fallen asleep sitting up due to my extreme exhaustion.

“Sorry to disturb you, King Levious. One of the pack leaders has arrived and wishes to speak with you.”

“Let him in.”

"Your Majesty, King Levious. You are a formidable and powerful king. Greetings, king.“ Someone from the leader pack entered the room after the king's guard left. ”Forgive me for disturbing you, King Levious.“ The middle-aged man with a white beard down to his chest bowed his head to show respect for the king. ”I heard that today you went hunting wild deer. Shouldn't you be accompanying Luna Agleria in your chamber all day as newlyweds?"

It seemed that everyone knew that I couldn't give up my habit of hunting wild animals alone. Of course, they needed a king who was ready to take care of the palace and the people, not wild deer.

Immediately, another middle-aged man came into the room and knelt before me. He was also one of the pack leaders.

“Greetings, King Levious. I want to inform you that Elious will marry one of the omegas from the Mevola pack tomorrow. She hopes that you can be a witness to his wedding tomorrow.”

Marry? I started to grin when I heard that my stepbrother was getting married again. Elious was my brother from a different mother, and he already had six wives.

“A seventh wife?”

“Yes, King Levious. His mother and King Sqear Geeser are gone, so Elious wants you and Luna Agleria to be witnesses to their marriage.”

I couldn't give any expression or answer to that request for several minutes. I felt that they were spending too much of the palace's wealth by marrying girls from small kingdoms that couldn't provide any benefits to the Geeser pack.

If they were marrying for pure love, I'm sure they wouldn't have married seven times.

“Are you willing, King Levious?”

I sighed deeply. “Yeah, I'll tell Luna Agleria.”

The man said again. “The king's advisor also offered you to marry again so that you would have more descendants. They—”

I felt nauseous, and the sound silenced everyone in the room.

"Are you alright, King Levious?"

I fought back the nausea with all my might and said. "Tell the king's advisor that I refuse the offer."

“Yes, King Levious.”

I finally got up from my chair and left the room, then walked to my bedroom. The four guards who had been standing in front of the main door of the king's private room followed me to the door of the room.

“Levi.” Agleria stood up from the bed and hugged me warmly when I closed the door. “Where have you been?”

I held Agleria's shoulders so that we were slightly apart because I was not used to this kind of touch.

“Who cleaned this room?” I asked when I realized something.

Agleria smiled. “I did. I also washed our clothes and-"

I immediately interrupted her. “Are you trying to get my attention? You better give up on that because I will never want to be tied down to any woman.”

She furrowed her brow when heard my words. Her face looked sad.

“Then you want to be single?”

"Didn't I already tell you? I want to go back to my old life. I want to live in the western mountains and hunt wild animals. I can't live like this. So, start seducing the lycan king, alpha or beta from another pack."

“I won't do that.”

“You have to. After divorcing me, you have to get—”

“I don't want to divorce you.” Agleria interrupted me, breathing unevenly. I saw tears welling up in her eyes.

I snorted softly. “You're really stubborn, Luna. You—”

“What if I get pregnant and give birth to a son for you?”

I grinned when I heard my wife's words. “Are you really sure about that?”

"Yeah, but on one condition ... I ... I want you to stay with me and our baby longer.”

“How long?”

“Twenty years?”

“No, I won't be able to stand being with you for twenty years. Getting married and becoming a father has never been on my bucket list.”

I knew all of this would hurt Agleria's heart right now. But I had to make her realize it before her feelings grew deeper.

“Aren't I the beautiful princess of the Mevola pack? Even the kings of several other packs are competing to make me their Luna. So why are you different?” Agleria asked, staring into my eyes. Two tears rolled down her cheeks.

I knew that Agleria was married to Sqear Geeser with a large amount of gold and several political agreements that were very beneficial to the Mevola pack because of her beauty. I also admit that my wife is beautiful, but I still can't really live in this marriage.

So I just chose to remain silent for a few minutes.

“So... How long?” Agleria asked, wiping her cheeks with the back of her hand.

I stared at her coldly because I really wanted to close the gap so that our feelings would not merge.

“It's still seven years. If you manage to give birth to a boy, then I will be here until he is seven years old. If not, then I will leave one year after you are confirmed to be pregnant with a girl.”

“Then who will be king if our baby is a girl?”

“Maybe Elious. He is also the first child of Sqear Geeser's second wife. The throne may fall into his hands. Or... Uncle Gozar.”

I wanted to continue walking to the bathroom, but Agleria held my right arm while looking down. I waited until Agleria dared to lift her face and speak to me.

“Can we ‘do it’ one more time... Levi?”

Agleria lay down on the bed without a single thread covering her white skin, then she began to look at me with a gaze that was difficult to describe.
