“So you are the almighty untouchable boss or should I say CEO?” Milla asked plainly. Her fingers crossed as she strolled majestically towards Steve.
So you are the urgent being who asked to see me. What do you want Milla or should I still call you Natasha? Steve asked, aligning his gaze with hers.
“You know I was hoping I would encounter a changed version of you but you are still the same person Steve.
Not like it gets me that surprised”-Milla.
“I would have called you a fibber and a trickster if I had to define you from my last experience with you. But I won't do that yet girl. I'll draw my conclusions from the reason why you are here,”
“have a seat” Steve said pointing to a couch close to them by the wall
They both sat, steering at each other for about 30seconds, Milla finally spoke.
“Hey I know I cheated the last time okay and made away with some of your cash. But I couldn't just stay there and watch you manipulate me like you did with other ladies”
“You have to understand me Steve, I wasn't totally wrong.” Milla explained, looking all bold.
“I know exactly how to handle that now that you are in my presence without a means of escape. But first I want to know why you are here while I'm still calm” Steve said with his face all serious.
“Fine. I'm here on behalf of my friend. She was given a 3month sanction by you and I believe that's too much for her since she has herself and her grandmother to take care of”
“Look Steve I know you sometimes act cruel but not to the extent of pushing away a young Struggling lady who has no parents. Please you'll have to do something” Milla pleads calmly, shifting close to Steve who was sitting at the other end of the same couch.
“I don't think you have the right to walk in here and judge my actions. You don't work here and certainly, she didn't tell you what she did. And that I did want to talk about.” Steve replied.
“Ok what did she do, and what can I do to make you change your mind? I'm her very close friend, okay, and I can not watch her go through this pain. It hurts me too.” Milla’s eyes glistened with tears. Her stare was pitiful.
“I love the question: what can I do to change your mind? I think you should have started with that rather than struggling to explain. That's so monotonous.
So this is what you can do to change everything”
Steve replied with a smile then in silence for a few seconds he stared at Milla sternly.
Milla in her anxious star wondered what Steve could demand. She looked at him aligning their iris in anxiety.
Impatience gripped her heart then she spoke out quickly.
“Why are you silent?”
“Shii, don't talk, I'm thinking of how to place my words. Not really like you will not understand but just to make sure you understand unquestionably” Steve replied.
“Anyways Milla, let me be plain. You know me well and how much I enjoy good things. Your friend looks young, brilliant and attractive. I sense she has a rich story”.- Steve
Gradually placing his hands on Milla’s Shoulder, he continued
“When I saw her I noticed her loveliness and one of the motives why I asked her to depart was to facilitate my request from her. And glory to Jesus her confidante is here making it so much effortless.”
Milla, uncomfortable in her mind and not certain if what she was thinking was exactly what he meant, spoke out.
“Steve, what do you mean? , I sincerely don't understand what you are talking about”
“You are not a kid Milla, but let me make it easier. My desire is to lie with your friend. Feel every part of her body, maybe just twice, and then I'll let her be part of my prestigious company again. Very simple” He smiled.
“What?” Milla exclaimed in anger as she stood up. “Never!, I will never let that happen.”
“You don't have a choice my Lady, nor does she. And you remember you owe me. I can use that to make your own life miserable, trust me.” Steve looking all serious, threatened
“So to clear everything up, you have to make my request possible. I'll give you a few days to think about it. I guess there's nothing else you have to say, so get out” Pointing at the door Steve ordered.
Milla stood up and struggled to explain “ Steve you know we can…..”
“Get out” He yelled, His countenance extremely grumpy.
Milla glared at him, her heart boiling within her chest as she walked quickly towards the door, and picked up her bag on the chair. She opened the door, then looked at him and said sternly “Hope you realise what you are doing”
Then she slammed the door hard and departed.
