During the stint where the others had landed themselves in Hotel De Catherine the year before, there’d also been vampires and shifters and other beings locked up in those cells, just waiting on their turn to be pitted in the cage against another. Given that Ethan and Kyle’s first encounters with vampires consisted of Ethan getting his arse kicked, followed by imprisonment, degradation, exposure to the human world, and threats of being chowed on, the pack hadn’t been too keen on opening those cages containing the fanged bastards themselves.
