33 Once more staring at the inside of a cloth sack, I put one foot in front of the other as the leash tugged me forward. "Don't the humans understand the risks of being bitten by one of us?" My voice came out amazingly normal, seeing as my insides churned like they were twisting to get away. "They know there are risks," Catherine answered from in front of me. "Do they know they can die?
