Cole I WOKE UP to the sound of someone pounding on my front door. I looked at the clock and it was nine a.m. It had been a late night and I was still tired as all hell. Grumbling to myself, I got out of bed, pulled on a pair of jeans, and headed downstairs to see who the f**k was disturbing me. It definitely wasn’t who I’d expected. “Terin. I mean, Detective... what are you doing here?” I asked, rubbing my eye. “I tried calling you but you didn’t answer your phone,” she said, staring at me. “Sorry. It’s probably in my kitchen.
