“You’ve got to be kidding me,” muttered Ridley, staring over my shoulder as I took my first sip of the cocktail she’d handed me. We were at the club, in the VIP section, which was not as crowded as the rest of the place. The bar, however, was busy and Damian and Michael were still waiting for their drinks.
“What’s wrong?” I asked loudly over the music as I took another sip of the fruity drink. It tasted like pineapple juice mixed with a hint of cherry. I licked my lips. “Damn, this is so good. You can’t even tell there’s booze in it.”
