Greed is a sin,
Sinner tends to hide the sin.
Yet, the sin will show itself.
Nina
The people Rishab found were vampires, kitsunes and snakes yet they all sniffed around like a wolf. They were able to find the hidden money and gold behind the walls and under the floor.
Once a luxury shining interior is destroyed like a child attacked a cake, unexpected and deadly.
I walk around the house feeling a lot of pairs of eyes on me. I ignored them as I was finding the white brick wall but hadn't yet.
" Excuse me, that's a temple. Show some respect, " A screeching voice was coming from the corner of the corridors.
Temple rooms tend to have white walls to indicate purity.
I finally found the white bricks and glanced at Kaira and the workers.
" Leave," I mumbled. They followed my orders and left.
" Thank you for understanding temples..." Kaira stopped speaking as I snapped my fingers for dramatic effect.
The white bricks open themselves revealing tons of gold. I walk to them swiping my finger on gold brick.
" It's shining clean. Maybe the temple helped to keep dirtiness out of the room," I muttered closing the wall and not snapping my fingers. It didn't feel fun.
I walk away ignoring thunderstruck Kaira behind not hiding my smirk. I love to smirk so I use it every time I get the chance.
I walked upstairs where Rishab was with the tech team going through all the devices the family had.
I peek at the screens. A lot of things are happening that I can't understand but highlighted numbers summarize it all.
Ten million rupees aren't accounted for. Then two million rupees are missing and seventy transactions are omitted.
" Miss. Nina," A barking voice interrupted me reading.
The non-publically distitle Alpha.
" Here is the letter from the Royal Pack," He handed out a letter with a Royal stamp on it.
How could he get this that fast?
" What's written in it?" I asked looking at his typical black eye filled with rage. I smirked.
" Aruna pack haven't pledged their loyalty to Queen Disha of Sunshinners. So she doesn't have any right to investigate us in any other circumstance without Royal Pack's permission, " The non-publically distitle Alpha proudly announced making everyone stop working.
" Whose signature is in the letter?" I asked placing my hands inside my pocket and feeling my phone.
" The Canadian administrator of Royal Pack in India," He announced a bit loudly.
I pulled my phone out making him frown.
" Hello," Haniya answered in a few rings. That's new.
" Beta Haniya of Royal Pack, the phone is on the loudspeaker. I want your verbal permission right now to continue raiding the Aruna Pack. As they are loyal to the Royal Pack," I explained my situation to Haniya shocking the distitle Alpha that his mouth fell open.
" I, Beta Haniya of Royal Pack permit you to raid the Aruna Pack. And give you, Nina Singh the permission to do anything for example taking someone's life as well. You won't be held responsible for anything that goes wrong. In fact, the Alpha will be held for questioning," Haniya announced surprising me as well. That's great.
" Thanks, Hani. Bye," I made sure to call by her nickname so I could show my connection authority.
" Bye, Nino," She understood the assignment.
" You know Royal Beta on a personal level," He blurts out I notice his brother-in-law cringe.
" Your brother-in-law knows about it," I muttered and looked around, people have continued their work.
" The Royal Beta married the Queen Disha's sister. It was all over the world. How come you missed it?" The brother-in-law explained in Kannada as I walked downstairs.
" His name is Abhi," Eve reminded the brother-in-law's name a bit late.
" Kairav is incapable. He isn't socially aware or knows manners," Eve barked.
" But there wasn't any choice for his Tande," I thought back entering a room with the pile of money on the floor.
" Ansh is his firstborn," Eve pointed out.
" He is a scary cat," I thought back remembering the fearful eyes I saw as I opened my door.
Yet, he dared to knock. What was he thinking?
I pulled out my ringing phone. It's Amma.
" Amma," I answered looking at my smiling reflection in the mirror decor.
" How are you, sweetie?" She asked with a frying background.
" I'm missing you, Amma" I answered sitting on the nearest chair.
" I'm also missing you. Your papa and I talked that I should visit there in the coming week," Amma informed I almost shirked but composed reminding myself of my surroundings.
" It's good... Tell me the date and I will come to pick you up, Amma," I mumbled lowering my voice.
" Where are you, dear?" She asked after noticing my voice.
" Outside," I answered playing with my rings.
" Okay, you are outside then I will call you later," Amma understanding muttered.
" Okay, love you, Amma," I said
" Love you too, my life," Amma said before cutting the call.
The hair on my body raised creating a bubble-like texture. As a reflex, I looked up to see non-publically distitle Alpha staring at me.
With a growl, he looked away and walked away from my sight. That serves him well.
" What kind of explanation do you have for this, Gaurav?" A screeching voice gave chills to my spine.
" Payal, listen to me," Another voice responded and I followed the voice to one of the rooms.
The bed was filled with jewellery, old fashion clothes that also had timeless designs and photos of Gaurav and other women who looked like Ansh.
" What's there to listen?" Payal shouted with tears falling down like a waterfall.
" I kept these for Ansh and his mate," Gaurav gave the reason stopping Payal from crying but tears still fell.
" Who is he to you?" She shouted and I interrupted her,
" His son,"
My voice might have burst their bubble that they were alone. They looked shocked, ashamed and self-conscious at me and other workers who were enjoying the show.
" Payal, why is it so hard for you to accept Ansh's relationship with Gaurav?" I demanded an answer.
" He broke his relationship with Ansh a long time ago for Ansh's crimes," Payal wiped her tears away answering me.
Ansh's crimes?
