“Excuse me? What did Salvador just say?” Duke asked.
The Master raised his cane and changed the setting. He fired a laser beam at Duke, paralyzing him, and raised him off the ground. “Call me Salvador once more and it’ll be the end of you, you foul four-legged creature!”
“Let him go!”
The Master shut off the laser beam and released Duke who fell back down with a bump.
“You alright?” Michel cradled Duke’s head.
“He’ll be fine this time. Next time, I’ll make sure he knows how it feels to be roasted.”
