“Are you sure you don’t mind doing this before we leave?” Lycia asks as we stand outside of Neil’s room.
The boy had been released from the infirmary, so Lycia and I headed to the children’s home. The female in charge was shocked to see me, and even more so, discovering that I was Lycia’s mate. The shock on the female’s face didn’t deter Lycia from getting to Neil.
I smile, bring our entwined hands to my mouth, and kiss Lycia’s knuckles. “Of course not,”
