Chapter 5

Damian’s pov

After about an hour i already finish cooking for that asshole.

I already plan on putting poison in it but I remember that girl hasn't for more than a month so I let him slip out this time.

As I said it's already 1 hour since I left them and kinda off because I can't hear anything from them.

I grab a bowl and put some porridge on it and put some extra chicken and eggs as toppings, I put some bread with chocolate spread. I also put freshly squeeze oranges and a few fruits.

I was surprised when I walk from the kitchen and saw the two playing chess

The f**k? At hindi lang basta basta yun kasi halatang halatang seryoso ang dalawa lalo na si Aaron.

Although he was already winning he didn't go easy on her.

She's a beginner can't he just consider it and let her win?

But while watching I realize why he's so competitive, she was playing like a pro.

She was about to make a move when she saw me she immediately gets up and run towards me with an ear-to-ear smile.

“Damian! Naglalaro kami ng horse at queen” she exclaimed, excitedly.

I smiled a little at her because I don't know what should I call her.

“Come on eat,” I said to divert the topic then put it on the center table.

She immediately does what I said and sit beside me.

I motion her to eat. “Dig in,” I said she smile at me and nodded before starting to eat.

Aaron got up and go to the kitchen to get his food. I look at their chessboard and I was stund to see the opening she made.

Does she really lose her memory? There's no way a beginner level of knowledge could pull some move like that.

For a minute a got alerted because there was a possibility that she was faking her memory lost.

But when I look at her I instantly regret that I doubted her.

I can't contain my laughter as she eats messily like a kid. Tumayo ako at kumuha ng tissue bahagya akong yumuko para pantayan siya pero tamang tama namang tumingala ito saakin.

Nahigit ko ang hininga ko ng wala nang isang pagitan ang lapit ng mukha namin sa isa’t isa.

And for some reason, I felt my heart flustered.

She smiles at me again after munching her food.

Agad naman ako natauhan at napalayo, “you’re such a messy eater” I said, bago pinunasan ang gilid ng labi niya habang hindi nakatingin dito.

And again she just smiled and picked up a banana and eat it happily.

After a few minutes, the i***t comes back with a gigantic bowl.

Hours passed by and it was already dark outside so Aaron decided to go home already.

“I should go ahead now,” and wave goodbye to her. “Bye girl. wait para akong babaeng best friend nakakaunite lang ah” sabi nito at nagpaalam.

“Maurine”

Sabay silang napatingin saakin.

“Ha?”

“I said her name is Maurine, Khazaria Maurine” I explain while staring at her. “I've been thinking about it earlier”

Napatango tango si Aaron. “It's pretty unique, just like her” He smiled at her “Well then Maurine It is nice meeting you”

He extends his hand to shake her hand.

After bidding goodbyes pumasok na kami sa bahay.

Para makapaglinis ng katawan at makapagpahinga na

“Here are my few extra t-shirts and unused boxer you can use it for now until we buy you clothes tomorrow” I explain while motioning to her what should she do.

She smiled and nodded after that pumunta na ako sa sariling banyo ko sa kwarto ko.

Sa sobrang pagkapagod ko nakalimutan ko nang isara ang pintuan ng banyo ko. I'm so worn out ang dami ng nangyari sa araw na ito.

Hinubad ko ang lahat ng saplot ko sa katawan at pumunta sa shower.

Pumikit ako habang umaagos ang tubig mula sa ulo ko pababa sa katawan ko.

Bigla ako napatingin sa pintuan ng bumukas yo’n at pumasok si Maurice.

Na ngiting ngiting pero hindi pa din nakaliligo suot niya parin yung damit niya kanina.

“Get the f**k out!!” I shouted.
