Hannah knew nothing about raising a baby.
Clearly, Clyde knew even less than she did.
The pacifier only had a soothing effect and didn't provide any nourishment.
"The baby is hungry, not just fussy."
Hannah tried hard to comfort the baby who was about to cry while reminding Clyde, "Promise me, before you decide to have children, you must learn about parenting."
"Okay." Clyde nodded without hesitation.
As they were talking, Esther, who had been absent, hurried over with a bottle.
"Sorry to keep you watching the baby."
Before Hannah could return the baby, Esther added, "I've been feeling tired lately. Thanks to you both, I can finally take a breather and rest a bit."
Hearing this, Hannah hesitated.
Esther shoved the bottle into Clyde's hands. "Thanks for your help!"
