Afraid of drawing attention, Hannah kept the contact brief. After removing her hand, she gave Clyde a meaningful look.

Clyde remained expressionless. Taking a deep breath, he turned his head away in frustration.
Hannah guessed he might be angry. After all, it was rude for an employee to cover the boss's mouth.
Feeling awkward, Hannah rubbed her nose and moved her chair closer to him.
"Mr. Lawson, I didn't mean to," she apologized quietly. "But Katherine is young. It's normal for her to be a bit spoiled in love."
