"It's a full moon tonight. Something big will happen!
"Ms. Carter, stay close to your boss or he might be in danger!"
After these cryptic words, Juliet hurried upstairs with the butler.
Her cheerful laughter echoed even two floors up...
Hannah felt utterly perplexed.
Juliet seemed different from their first meeting.
"Mr. Lawson." The living room was empty. Hannah cautiously stepped out from behind Clyde. "What danger might you face? How can I protect you?"
Clyde looked her over and replied softly, "Just take care of yourself."
He was also puzzled by his mother's behavior. He had checked the guest rooms downstairs and found them locked.
"I'll drive you home." Clyde sighed. No matter how obvious Hannah's feelings were, he couldn't share a room with her.
That would be disrespectful.
