TwelveAugust 4th 2014 Hills near As Sywayda, the excavation camp The day was dying but the excitement amongst the group of archaeologists and historians was tangible. Diane and Geoff spent the whole afternoon slowly and methodically revealing their find. Once word reached the camp everyone interrupted their activities and by late afternoon the whole group was gathered around the remote grave. Ruddy, Gregg and Thomas helped with the revealing of the skeletons and soon it was obvious that this third dig contained no more than a dozen human bodies.
