The rain drummed on the window but even the miserable weather outside wasn't able to lessen Professor Geoff Symons' cheerful mood. His loud laughter bounced off the ancient walls of his office at the Lincoln University.
“How come you decided you look better in front of the cameras?” He said.
“I look better in general, my darlin', and you better get used to that.” Diane stuck her tongue out at him from the other end of their transatlantic video chat. Behind her a large TV was tuned into BBC News and Geoff's face covered the space above a large sign: 'British historian involved in an international expedition that proved the existence of a twenty four ton gold statue.'
“That woman on CNN never asked you anything about Ruddy?” Geoff sai
