After Dale left, Maia took a micronap. She counted the seconds slowly in her head, relaxing her muscles and putting her mind at ease. When she opened her eyes again, she felt her energy level rise for a small notch, even though her body still felt sluggish and tight. She then tested the ropes around her. The one who tied them, is an expert, meaning it's none of the youngsters, including Lina. It was either her father, or the other older guy. If she could just see the way the rope was tied...she could try and feel up the end to try and untie herself.
But could she make it before anyone returns? Unlikely.
