Ravyn Consciousness returned slowly, accompanied by the nauseating sway of vehicle movement and the sharp antiseptic smell that had become sickeningly familiar. Ravyn’s head felt stuffed with cotton, her mouth dry as sandpaper, but her mind was gradually clearing from whatever sedative they’d used.
