Chapter Two

1004 Words
Lynn's P.O.V   "She's 16 today," I said pacing back and forth.   "Yes Lynn our daughter is 16 today shouldn't we celebrate?" Glen asked me.   I only growled at him. He was a fool to love those girls, those monsters. They're nothing but a thorn in my side, a setback in my plans. Either I get rid of them or they get rid of me. But how?   Even the pack, as loyal as they are, wouldn't stand by me if I killed them. They'd replace me and then I'd never get the power I needed, the power I craved.   "That's it, a celebration. What a wonderful idea Glen darling," I said in a sickening evil tone.   A celebration would be the distraction I needed. At the very least it could get me close to the girls and then from there I can figure out some sort of accident to happen for each of them. Something that can't get back to me.   I can implement some of the servants since the pack doesn't trust humans at all. Even if they tried to out me the pack wouldn't easily believe them and none would even try to find the truth to defend them.   Except Gwen and her mate and his family.  They care for the girls almost as much as Glen does and Gwen knows what they mean.   "Uhhhh how am I gonna pull this off!" I yelled, throwing a chair across the room so hard it broke against the wall.   "Relax darling I know you and the girls aren't close but once they see you've set up a nice day for Audrey maybe you'll all get closer," Glen said reassuringly in my ear.   I shrugged him off and walked out of our room. As idiotic and blind as he is he had a point. I only had 2 years before Audrey was independent enough to try and leave the castle then it would be that much harder to get rid of her but maybe I should try a long-term plan with dealing with them instead of short term.   I needed to gain their trust to make things look less suspicious. A little party was just what I needed to break the ice with them. I went down the hall to my Betas’ room. I need their help in getting things set up.   I knocked lightly on their door, "Hey bro I need your help with something. Are you decent?" I asked not waiting for an answer before opening the door and walking in.   Aaron came walking out of his bathroom with just a towel on his waist, "Well don't wait for an invitation in sis what do ya need?" he asked.   "Where is Abigail?" I asked, knowing she was too sweet to assist in my plans.   Aaron had always been on my side as well as Abigail's brother Brad but there were also other members of the pack that were too soft like Abigail. In fact most of my pack members were soft when it came to their Matriarch's offspring. If only they knew what they really were.   "She's already downstairs with Cole and Annabelle for breakfast. Is this about the girls?" he replied.   "Yes, it's Audrey's 16th birthday."   "So," he cut me off with a laugh, "She can't do anything to you until Edith and Erma come into their powers so what are you worried about?"   "If even one of them figures it out it won't matter if Audrey is the only one with powers all it takes is for them to peace everything together and I won't be able to stop them. They're already a united force with their 'sisterly' bond. I don't even know what Audrey's exact power is she never lets anything slip to me and if Gwen knows she isn't saying," I sighed.   This was all starting to stress me out. I need to know exactly what kind of threat Audrey was to me.   "I need to gain the trust of at least one of them, I know Edith and Erma know what her powers are. I just need them to spill," I said brainstorming out loud.   "Ya know sis as long as they're as thick as thieves they won't tell you a thing," Aaron said, interrupting my thoughts.   "You're right, I need a plan to come between them but what?"   "Maybe just start with a simple party, send their nanny to fetch them while we get things ready, Abigail will be more than happy to plan the party and she can get it done quickly," Aaron said confidently.   "You're right, you get Abigail and I'll send Anita to fetch the girls. After you speak to Abigail, meet me in my room," I instructed him and left to find my children's nanny.   Not 30 mins later my brother and I were planning the rest of the day out.   "Be nice and sweet and as motherly as you can be to them all day. Then when it's time for dinner, have the servants make a special dinner for the girls. I'll spike it with something undetectable but not harmful. If they ingest it, it'll only make them sick. Right when they go to eat it you stop them. Say you suspect the food and have a servant eat it. It will affect the servants more severely and they'll be kneeled over vomiting immediately. That should get you some trust points with at least the little one," Aaron brainstormed. He seemed to have it all figured out.   "That just might work," I said smirking, "After a day of fun Erma should be impressionable enough for it to work."   A knock sounded on my door. "Come in," I commanded, smelling who it was already. "Are the girls going to comply?" I growled letting my aura out making Anita fall to her knees.   "Y-y-yes my q-qu-queen," she stammered out.   "Good," I sneered, "Make sure the chefs are prepared to make a special feast for my little darlings this evening. You’re dismissed, servant.”   As soon as I contained my aura she was up on her feet running down the hall, tears streaming down her face. I always loved the torment my dominance caused when unleashed on weak pathetic humans.
