CHAPTER EIGHT His idea had been clear at the time, a dragon that Ocelot would trust more could join Bora as Kail’s guard. It was simple and he rushed toward the throne room where Ocelot resided most of the day and usually late into the evening. Claskan often thought the King rarely slept or left the throne room. The saluting guards gave him doubt over the new plan and it seemed less likely to succeed as they opened the doors. He stepped inside and noticed only the King was in fact in the room. It was strange to see him without Torrance at his side, but the silver dragon was nowhere to be seen. Claskan was relieved as he approached. “What is it now Claskan?” The King acknowledged the dragons irritating presence. “I’ve come up with a solution to the green dragon posted at Kail’s door.” C
