Padyn avoided Bora, who, for the first few days, attempted to pursue the subject of the kiss. Every time he began speaking, she would move away from him and Kail. She knew now that her assignment was unimportant and false. Bora didn’t want to cause a scene so he never pursued her, but any time they were close enough he would broach the subject.
The group exited the tree lined barrier that separated forest from ocean.
