Claskan paced his tent. Kail and Dego had disappeared into the wood’s hours ago. Bora and Padyn were fast asleep on the beach. Dego had complete control over what happened while they were ‘scouting’ the area ahead. He had no reason to trust the red dragon, had felt that something else was going on, but knew that he, as well as others, would become suspicious if Claskan denied his ‘request’.
It was all new territory ahead. He didn’t understand what was going through Dego’s mind, why did he want to take Kail with him when he could cover more ground alone? It had also come to his attention that Dego had been disappearing at night. Something definitely wasn’t right and he had to figure it out before something terrible happened.
