Raul explained to Alora and Carina what happened that night. They were both shocked at what Claskan had done and wondered if they too would receive the freedom that he offered Raul. Claskan unfortunately withdrew himself from them for a while after.
Claskan would leave early in the morning and only return after everyone was fast asleep. At times he would attend to his duties in Ellende and they wouldn’t see him for days. He always left the family plenty of nilva and lenva for food and whatever else they needed while he was away.
