“We set out to save the woman Claskan loved. We failed. We set out to end Ocelot’s reign. We failed.” Galdaro’s speech was off to a terrible start. “This isn’t the end of the rebellion though. It is only the beginning. I fear that before the end we will not find happiness, or comfort so much as stress and pain. Kail will guide us at Claskan’s side. Bora and Padyn will guide us when they cannot.”
The crowd murmured slightly, but still listened with a fervor that few speeches had freely been given.
“Who among us has not fallen when first starting out? We are new and we will fight on. I expect each of us to mourn the same loss Claskan is mourning. So, I ask for a moment of silence for Carina.”
