Paolo walked this trail up the mountains many times. He hiked as far as the mountain plateau in the summertime, but as fall fell to winter and the rain had become more frequent, he stayed at ground level. Now he and Kail hiked this path, both aware of the pitfalls of falling, to a viewing area that Kail had simply walked past earlier.
