Lucy groaned as she shoved the last of her books in her backpack for the day ahead, already dreading what was to come. She'd forgotten that she had an exam today—and the only thing that she was going to excel at all morning, she was sure, was complaining about it to her roommate.
"Well, you spent most of your weekend with Elise, so I don't see why it surprises you that you forgot," Kendra answered from where she stood by the door of their room.
