Chapter Eleven
With the stress of this possibly being the last ever training session with Legacy likely weighing on Elise's shoulders, Lucy had initially worried it would be harder for the senior to concentrate. But now that it was actually happening, Elise seemed to be in an all-out business mode from the moment she swung into the saddle. A bit relieved by this, Lucy sat on the edge of the mounting block and decided that for today, she would let Elise warm up Legacy on her own for a bit, even at the canter. And Elise was agreeable, as Lucy hoped she would be. It would give Elise the opportunity to work on what she felt was important, while having Lucy there for guidance if needed.
