It was almost nightfall when Douglas collected the last check-up results on the Pet Project. He left the lab hurriedly and immediately headed towards Asher's Office, but no one was in the spacious room when he got there.
He pulled back and was about to search for another place when he suddenly bumped into Mini who was carrying some report files.
The young lady bounced back and fell off the floor, bruising her wrist.
" Oh, s**t! Mini? Are you okay? " Douglas quickly went down to her and pulled her up to her feet. It took some seconds before Mini could breathe again.
