The excruciating pain Julian had felt resulted in nightmares. The sound of the ambulance siren she had heard from her subconscious mind had instilled fear inside of her that when she began to regain consciousness, her heartbeat would begin to drop, allowing the ECG machine that showed her heart rate to begin beeping.
Asher had just left the lab to answer the call from his father-in-law while Mini was about to leave the lab when she heard this sudden whimper.
