chapter 9:she's oppa's girlfriend

They both stepped out of the room leaving me alone.

Then I started thinking again,how did he know I was there or was he just passing by,why did he save me? Or was it because that's his family's property,but then why did he call the police?

All these thoughts were too complicated for me to comprehend

While I was busy thinking, a discussion about me was going on outside the room.

"So yi jung who is that girl you have brought home?"

"Mom can you please not ask That now,...please?" He said trowing himself on the couch tiredly"

"Eomma... she's Oppa's girlfriend" she said in a not so whispery way

"Ga-eul!"

Was what Yi jung shouted when he got up from his seat

"What? If she's not your girlfriend then who is she?" She said in an innocent manner,while playing with her hair

Yi Jung could tell what she was trying to do, because he has already told her everything.

Or it was probably half of everything.

Then he looked to his mother and said "she's not my girlfriend, I was on our old warehouse, when I heard voices coming from the inside,I went and saw Ha Minji's father physically harassing her and it was not the first time he's done it" he finished and sent ga-eul a glare"

"So her name is Ha Minji?"

His mother asked

"Yes"

"But doesn't she have other family member?"

"She does...her mother is away on a business trip in Macau,and... her older brother is probably looking for her by now..." He said adding the last line in a different tone.

"Then why don't you take her to her brother?"

"Woah Woah Woah.. Wait a,minute how'd you know her name I dont recall her mentioning it in your presence?" She was an obvious smirk on her face

"Well I heard her father call her name" he immediately lied but his sister saw right through him but decided not to say anything else

"Yi jung you do know that the media has their eyes on our family's every move, what would they start saying if the happen to see you going around with girls"

"Mom I just wanted to help her out plus they were on our family's territory...

I know where she lives,she recently moved in with her brother because of her father"

"Yi jung oppa... How do you manage to know so much about this girl "she asked in a sincerely confused manner

"It's because I'm So Yi Jung"he said and walked upstairs

Minji who was completely unaware of what was happening eventually fell asleep,so she didn't know that yi jung was back in the room.

He stood over her as she was on the bed examining her body, because his sister had decided to dress her in a tiny strap dress,he noticed some bruises on her arm.

The sight of this made him furrow his brows then he took a few steps back and pulled out his phone and dialed a familiar number

"Assistant Li I'd like you to do a thorough background check on Ha Minji and her family,I'd expect to see the reports by tomorrow"he finished and hung up the phone.

Then he turned again to look at Minji this time her eyes fluttered open

"My Brother...Woo bin oppa"

Yi jung stayed quiet when she mentioned her brother but then his expression changed when she mentioned woo bin,because in his mind he had misunderstood that her brother and woo bin were two different people but he returned to his normal self when she called his name tiredly

"So yi jung... Why did you help me?"

"Because you needed it and your father was really trespassing"he said with a light chuckle

Then he added

"Should I take you home now" he said then she replied with fast nod

Meanwhile back at home Ha woo bin had nearly gone crazy thinking of what might have happened to his sister,he checked the houses if the friends and her favorite places yet she was no where to be found

Not until he heard a car park right outside his house
