“Don't.” Rodrigo raised his hand to halt her from coming nearer. She heard the silent shot again and Rodrigo coughed out blood. An animalistic wail left her lips as she rushed to Rodrigo's side. Her breath hitched, and she couldn't stop her violent heartbeat.
“No…you..might..get…shot.” He said in short breaths. Rodrigo fell from his chair and Hillary immediately grabbed his head, cradling it on her lap.
Her hands started to tremble as she stared at the blood pooling around them. She reached her hands into his pocket and fished out his phone. She immediately called Fabio and he answered immediately.
“Fabio, help, Rodrigo has been shot. He's bleeding a lot. The line suddenly cut and Hillary pressed on Rodrigo's wound to stop the excessive bleeding.
