“Hillary, are you awake?” I tapped her gently while sitting on the bed, but she didn't respond. I brushed the loose strands of hair on her face, and she twitched, finally opening her eyes. She turned to the other side immediately when she saw me. “I'm sorry, please don't be mad at me. I've just been really busy with some stuff.” She didn't respond to anything I said. She just lay there quietly. I went downstairs to the kitchen to make her a cup of tea. I helped her sit up, and she drank her tea slowly. “Feeling better?” She nodded slowly whilst licking her lips. “Have you eaten?” She shook her head sideways without making eye contact. A frustrated sigh left my lips as I stared at her. I waltzed back to the kitchen and made her some pasta and sauce. I finished in no time and took it up
