Chapter 3 “That’s enough,” he says, his voice a low, dangerous rumble that vibrates through my chest. Before I can even blink, his large hand is around the back of my neck. He doesn't squeeze, but the weight of his palm is a claim. He searches my eyes, his grey gaze dark with a hunger he’s clearly been suppressing for years. I don’t shy away. I lean into his touch, nodding frantically, my breath coming in short, jagged hitches. He’s looking for a reason to stop, but I’m only giving him reasons to lose his mind.
