Jade’s POV
“Goddess please,” I sobbed as I cupped my hands together from where I was kneeling in the middle of the church.
The church was what we called the building in which we prayed to the moon goddess.
It was circular to represent when we felt the most connection to her, and this was the place where we prayed to her.
There was nobody in the church when I came in, it being a weekday, but thankfully, it was always open.
