The oxygen in our vacation home was a lot cleaner than the city air. I took in a deep breath and turned around to face Mom and Kent.

"Taking time away from work and the bustle of city life to spend with family has always been my wish. Thank you for giving me this beautiful family," Kent kissed my mom and our eyes met.
