"mia!" oliver yells trying to stop his wife, sadly being ignored, "we have to follow him." "right." arsenio agreed, there was no point in being sad, he had to move quickly, "are you sure mia isn't back at work, uncle oliver?" oliver shook his head. his wife had asked permission to go home early, when he asked what, he just said he had unfinished business matters, "it's the best bet right now." arsenio checked the time on his cell phone. ten minutes until lunch was over, he should be back at the company. but ... 'i'm sorry, arlene. i can't waste this opportunity.' arsenio took oliver into his car, "uncle, did you put a tracking device on mia's cell phone?" "huh!? there's such a thing?" oliver was surprised. he doesn't really keep up with technological developments, his cell phone is only used to make calls and send messages. he didn't think about such things, for him being able to keep in touch with the people he loved was enough. "arsenio!" faye shouted calling from the door of the house. arsenio rolled down his car window to answer, "yes, mama?" "can i come with you?" faye asked, "there's still something i haven't told mia." "of course." arsenio did not refuse his mother's request, "go inside, mama." faye's eyes lit up, and immediately got into the car followed by denis. *** unlike before, dominic didn't put a cloth over sofia's eyes, so he could tell where they were going. sofia saw directions to las vegas for the second time after she had previously left with arsenio. she can't believe she's coming here again anytime soon, this time getting married to another man. another man ... sofia clenched her fists that were in her lap. he can't do anything, he's helpless in dominic's threat. before they left, he rebelled refusing to go to las vegas until he had time to punch a flower vase on dominic's forehead so he could escape, unfortunately as soon as his foot stepped out the door, big and muscular bodyguards were ready to block him, they made him helpless by covering his mouth with a cloth that has been mixed with sleeping pills. when she realized, sofia was already in the car with dominic. sofia didn't really know the las vegas city street, but the one she was passing now was very familiar to her. he waited a moment to see if it was true or not, when dominic's car swerved into a block, his fears deepened, "are we going to the wedding hall?" she asked, glancing anxiously at him. dominic kept his mouth shut, focused on driving through the lunchtime crowd. sofia checked the surroundings again. his confidence grew, now they were on the block where the location of his wedding building with arsenio used to be, "you rent an apartment near the building?" he asked trying to think positively, remembering he had previously said their wedding would be tomorrow. dominic this time responded to his question. his eyes glanced when the traffic light flashed red, "what do you think?" instead he reversed the question. "how do i know that?" sofia threw back the question, feeling that now wasn't the time to joke, "if you had shared your plans with me, i wouldn't have asked." "if i told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, would it?" sofia rolled her eyes. dominic laughed at him, "this was actually your mother's idea, not mine." mother's idea? don't tell him that tomorrow's wedding plans are cancelled? but if they were, they shouldn't be here. "what do you mean?" sofia asked with trembling lips, afraid to know the facts. "you have an ex-husband who has no shame after everyone knows the filth he did to our relationship." dominic laughed at the thought of what he'd read about what happened at lunchtime between mia and arsenio. ex-husband... you mean arsenio? did he go to see his mother? "he even used his mother to get information from your mother," dominic continued, "to the knees of all to your mother. how pathetic, and deserved that bast*rd accept it." sofia just looked down glumly. no surprise to him arsenio would do all that, he himself told him if he lost it one more time he could go crazy. 'why are you doing all this? i have betrayed you, arsenio. find another woman who is far more deserving of your love.' sofia looked at the ring that arsenio gave her that was still on her ring finger, every time she saw it she remembered her face with that tender smile that always made her a special woman. he did not want to be trapped anymore and decided to remove the ring from his ring finger, then opened the car window to throw it out. he took a deep breath after doing so. 'good bye, my second love.' sofia tightened her grip on her knees, holding back something wet from her eyes. it is all over. arsenio was not the last man she loved. he's pretty much the same as dominic. there is no such thing as true love. "oh?" dominic saw all of this, impressed, "is it time for you to accept all this?" sofia looked away. correct. there is no such thing as true love. dominic is also not his true love, he has no right to rule his life. sofia's head was filled with the desire to be free, she grabbed the steering wheel in a fast motion, distracting dominic who was driving. "what are you doing!?" dominic screams in anger and shock at what he did, because he too his car went off the track and hit a nearby building, "f*ck! sofia!" he cursed in annoyance, "get your hands off it!" sofia ignored his orders, her head only focused on carrying out her plan to stop the car she was traveling in so she could get out of here. he would do anything, even if he had to go to the hospital. the car ran out of control, crashing into the buildings around them as the unyielding sofia tried to wrest control of the steering wheel. they stopped to whimper each time the car hit the building hard, then scrambled for the steering wheel again when they were done. dominic hit the brakes, there's no way he'd do any more damage, this would slow down his plans if he had to deal with the police, "sofia! don't make me do something i don't want to!" sofia doesn't care about that. dominic click his tongue, he let go of sofia's hand to take the taser gun that was on the car door, then aimed it at her hand that was pressing the horn. sofia saw it all, she dodged quickly, "what are you doing!?" "what do i do?" dominic laughed scornfully at his silly question, "i warned you to stop acting silly! but you keep fighting me, that's why i did this!" "but you don't have to use a taser gun at all!" sofia did manage to dodge his attack, but she still protested because being hit by the taser gun was painful.
