It took a few days for me to feel well enough to join the 5AM training session. Obviously I still wasn’t in the best shape anymore, but I was determined not to get shown up by anyone else. My mind won’t let me forget about the Supremacy challenge either, but since Ben was in a predicament of his own I’m not sure what’s going to happen with it.
I’ve overheard him telling his Beta, Samsen, that he wants to step down as Alpha, and let him lead. But Samsen didn’t want to lead without Ben, which raised another challenge. Who would lead the Golden Ray pack? Would they just disband into rogues, or disperse into mine? I don’t mind taking on the extra pack members, but losing Ben as an Alpha friend is very disheartening. But so is losing your mate, so I can’t judge him.
