A brutal blow shook the truck and its passengers. The travelers who were not well strapped with their seat belts were thrown on the ground and slipped inside the box of the truck as objects flew madly around them.
Irina realized that the sensation of vertigo due to the free fall had stopped and was replaced by the external roar of pieces and rocks falling around. The woman wondered if the vehicle had already reached the end of the ravine and if they were surrounded by water, although she consciously knew it was a ridiculous thought since the fall had been far too brief.
