Chapter 4 - Hidden Sparks

After their agreement with his wife about the ruling of their kingdom, King Raven, decided some walks through the beautiful gardens. He don’t know what happened to him. He needs some fresh air. Something strange about his wife. He is bewitched by her majestic eyes. He remembered the pink Princess who’s he longing a long time. “Maybe, i’m just missing that mysterious Pink Princess. Who was she?” He wants to search again about her, but, he is married now, what for? his brain battles. He is eaten with a deep thought when her wife’s cousin, Cassandra, a seductive and cunning woman, approaches him.

CASSANDRA

(teasingly)

My dear cousin, aren't you tired of the responsibilities that come with being king? Why not enjoy a little excitement?

RAVEN

(smiling)

Cassandra, you always know how to tempt me. But I am happily married to Aurelia now, and she deserves my loyalty.

CASSANDRA

(challenged)

We knew each other’s first. Your marriage was just arranged and not bound with love and affections. I’m more capable of loving you, Raven.

RAVEN

( disgusted)

Please Cassandra, i’m married now. Find another man who fated to you. Don’t come here again.

CASSANDRA

(hurt)

Fine! But, wait! She pause for a while, steal a kiss and leave.

RAVEN

( shocked)

He said nothing, stared her back until the figure is gone. Cassandra is sexy and beautiful too, but, he don’t like her. She’s not Raven’s type. His heart owned by someone unknown. He sighed.

While, Aurelia go out to their bedroom’s balcony. She breathes some fresh air and slowly close her eyes. She then stretching her hands feeling a little comfort and relax with the cold breeze of the air. She deeply sighed.

When she’s about to open her eyes, she hears someone talking behind the bush. She open her eyes immediately and see her husband at the garden and her cousin, Cassandra?! what is she doing her?

Aurelia notices Cassandra, who is dressed provocatively, trying to catch Raven's eye. Jealousy sparks in Aurelia's eyes. Wait, what?! Is she jealous? She don’t know her feelings in front of Raven. Her heart skipping a beat now.

AURELIA

(to herself)

Is she flirting with her husband? Something pinch her heart when she watch the scene. Cassandra kissing her husband. Why, is she jealous? They were married just by agreement. She owes Raven’s body but not his heart and soul. She don’t care instead. Maybe, she will just longing for the mysterious black hawk she bumped in before. “Where is he now? Who’s that man, too? She tried recalling about him.

In other side of her brain, she is Raven’s legal wife too and no one dares to insult her. I will not let Cassandra come between us. We’re still married and need to be respected.” she murmured.

She glanced her husband once more and turn to leave.

RAVEN

( sighed)

He felt sorry for her. He caught his wife watching them who get inside after. Is she get jealous? But, she don’t have feelings to me.”in his mind.

CASSANDRA

(jealous)

Cassandra, seething with jealousy, “I will promise, someday Raven will be mine.” She leave the palace after a while.

At night, King Raven enters their room after his duty to his kingdom. He is tired now and needs to relax. He got showered.

Aurelia is so uneasy with the thoughts of sleeping with her husband tonight. It’s not their first time to sleep together but, why is it that she feels more uneasy now? Will she confronts King Raven about what she saw this morning? She don’t know what to do.

“My wife, is there something you need? Raven asked.

She realized that Raven come nearer who are topless from the bathroom. She is nervous. “No, nothing. I’m just tired.” she lied.

“Okay, if there’s anything else, you can ask me.” He offered.

“Of course, thank you!” Aurelia replied.

She glanced his back for a while and then turn her back pretending to ignore everything. She rolled at the side of the bed and trying to sleep to escape the night and ignore his presence but, her body doesn’t cooperate. She wants to pee. Therefore, she has no choice but to get up and go to the comfort room. She immediately stand. Unknowingly, she carelessly stepped the edge of the bed and her feet slide the comforter. She out balanced and drop.

“Oh! Careful, my wife! He bend and help his wife.

“Ouch!, she reaches his hand and help herself to stand by his help.

Aurelia accidentally hold the towel and she’s so shock to see what’s in her front now when the towel removes from his hips and exposed everything.

Raven carefully hold her hand and assist her to stand. When he noticed her eyes widen. He look at his down and froze for a while. He then realized and wrapped again the towel to his naked lower part.
