RISE OF AN OMEGA

CHAPTER 2

Luz PoV

It's been 3 weeks since Clarence tripped me in the school corridor. Since then I've been very thankful his not bothering me at all. I hope it would go on or he's just finding the perfect time to bully me. It really hurts me, my ex-friend bullying me. I feel betrayed since I don't know why his doing this to me. So many times I tried to confrint him but he didn't gave me a sokid reason. His only reason is because I'm an Omega. And he doesn't want to be friends with an Omega because he will be soon an Alpha. I felt very hurt. Never new that status is important to have friends.

I cut off my daydreaming as everyone is busy preparing the birthday of Clarence. This is the day when he will get his wolf and will meet his mate. Our future Luna. The preparation is grand, well obviously because he is the soon to be Alpha. And all Alphas in the neighboring pack are also invited in hope that their daughter or one of their pack members is the future Luna or mate of Clarence.

The party is held outside the house. A big ground, half the size of the football stadium is decorated with an arc of balloons and pillars,like Greek pillars. On one side is the stage and the rest where round tables and chairs covered with white fabric. The stage is decorated also with blue and black balloons and a gold glittery name of Happy Birthday Clarence is glued on the wall. As you enter there is an arc decorated with blue and black balloons also. Standing there is the family of the Alpha. Alpha Cameron, Luna Daisy and Clarence, to welcome the arriving guests. Clarence is wearing a black tux and a blue shirt inside. His hair is made up like little spikes. He looks so handsome and respectable. Guests comes with their cars and drop them off near the entrance and the cars needs to be park at the back.

It's almost midnight and his wolf will appear. He will have his first run with the Alpha and after that they will run together as a pack.

Since she doesn't have her wolf yet, she can't run with them. So she decided to go to the lake just outside the packs border. It's sad that the lake is not part of the packs territory.

CLARENCE POV

"Are you excited son?" Alpha Cameron asked Clarence as he could sense his agitation. We are now in the clearing where I will shift. I changed my clothes on tshirt and track shorts.This is the area where our warriors are training. Everyone in the pack and guests are present to witness my shift. "Yes! I even want to drag the time!" saying it like he's receiving a Christmas gift from Santa! Alpha Cameron laughed "Ha,ha,ha. Any minute now son. Be patient." as he too is excited for his son. They talk on some things while waiting for the time. "It's time son." Alpha Cameron said. Clarence stepped into the center of the clearing. Closed his eyes and searched inside his head. And then he felt someone's in there. "Hi, I'm your wolf. My name is Tyrone." He opened his eyes "His name is Tyrone!" he announced happily. His father signaled him to go on and he closed his eyes again and concentrate on his wolf.

"Hi,Tyrone! So nice to finally meet you." he greeted his wolf with so much joy. "Are you ready?" asked the wolf. "Yes, I am!" as ready as I can be! "Okay. Let's start. Let me takeover." As soon as Tyrone tookover his body becomes very hot, he is shivering and then he felt the pain from his bones. Everyone heard the cracking of bones as it is preparing every bone in the body for the transformation. His clothes shred into pieces while shifting. The crowd is mesmerized on his wolf. He looked down and there he saw his paw. That's fast! I don't feel so much pain! Tyrone stands at seven feet tall. His coat is raven black with a grayish line that starts in the middle of his head to his nose. Runs down to his neck and torso like he is cut into two. But what shocked the crowd was his eyes were red! Alphas usually has black eyes so it is a big shock for everyone. "Eherm. Let's continue the ritual now. Tyrone I am your Alpha." using the Alpga voice so that he will ubderstand that he is the Alpha. "We will run together first and then the rest of the pack will follow for the pack run." Tyrone growled to say that he agrees. "You can mindlink me son." the Alpha laughed,bemused. "I'm sorry Alpha. I'll keep that in mind." he retorted with sarcasm in the mindlink. Alpha Cameron try to stifle his laugh and just a second he is all in four. His wolf is black also with a brown spot on the chest. His name is Michael standing just an inch taller from Tyrone. Michael nodded to Tyrone and off they set and run to the pack parameters and borders.

I love the wind blowing on my face. It feels cool and refreshing. Like I could fly and leave everything behind. And as I go faster I felt free and all the worries are gone! I can feel the rest of the pack keeping up on us. And I can hear some of them mindlinking their congratulations and mindlink them back with thank yous. Dennis wolf came on my right. His name is Dallas, he has brown fur and as tall as Tyrone. On my left came Richard, on his wolf Randall he's fur is chocolate brown with dark spots of brown. Like chocolate brownies!

The pack run is finish but he still wants to run. He wants to scout the parameter more so that he can familiarize the packs territory . He mindlink the Alpha about his plan including Dennis and Richard. "Okay son. But be quick we still have guests." Alpha Cameron said. "Yes Alpha." he cut the mindlink and start running on the packs border.

He couldn't believe that he has his wolf now. "Well you don't have a choice. You're stuck with me." Tyrone said.And they laugh together. As he is running a scent captured his attention. It's a scent of lutos and vanilla. So eerie and sweet. He sniffed the air to capture the scent and followed to where it comes from. And he stopped. 'Wait! the scent came from outside the border!' Clarence said. He scans the sorrounding, maybe there are rogues or it's an ambush. But he could only feel one heartbeat. 'Let's follow the smell!' Tyrone said feeling excited. 'Okay. It seems he/she is a pack member. We just need to be quick. I don't want to attract rogues on my birthday! or start a fight with other packs' 'No problem. We will just check where that smell came from. I'm just curious." and so Tyrone led the way leading them to the lake. They stayed behind the trees controlling their breathing so that he/she will not notice them. Wait! it's a she?
