CHAPTER 6

THE FIGHT

LUZ POV

I woke up much earlier to have a little run and some liftings. Today is the day where I'll fight with Dennis. I know he is one of the best warriors in the pack. But no one knows that I've been training also. And I have the best and strongest trainor that anyone can have! I do beat him sometimes, but still I need much more improvement. Training with him almost everyday, if he doesn't have pack duties, makes me more familiar with his moves. His techniques are already programmed in my mind that I can already know what his next move is that's why I defeat him sometimes. Feeling confident that I already know his techniques, most of the time he just surprises me with new moves and so I lost again. So now, is a different enemy I will encounter different fighting skills. I've watched how Dennis trains. He's more of an attack but still quick on defensive. This will be hard but challenging!

I went early in the training ground located at the left side of the pack house. I stepped in the center and did some stretchings. I'm wearing a black sportsbra and a legging short. Tied up my hair in a ponytail. "You shouldn't do that you'll get tired very quick Omega." Dennis is mocking me just a few feet away from where I stood. Dennis, Clarence and Richard are on their way to the training ground. Some warriors and curiuos pack members were presesnt to witness the fight. Clarence will officiate the fight. As much as I want it to be Richard but it should be the Alpha or next to the Alpha which is Clarence. Richard is like a no mans island which pretty sure he can be the best judge for the fight. Besides Clarence bullies me also and pretty sure he will side on Dennis. Well, to give a sure win I'll just need to knock him off!

"Finally you showed up! It's must be a shame if an Omega defeats you!" I retorted with a smirk. I can feel he's angry now. He's glaring at me and I can see he's burning me already with those fiery eyes. I laughed internally. "Hope I could keep up on your expectations!" annoying him once more giving him a slight bow. I straightened looking at him from head to too sizing him up. Actually, I'm just trying to intimidate him while waiting for Clarence to start the fight. They're still having their pep talk or whatever.

I heared Clarence cleared up his throat. "Today we will witness the fight of Luz and Dennis. Our defender is Dennis the son of Beta Jasper and one of the top warrior. Our challenger is Luz an Omega who has a condition, if ever she wins Dennis will never bully and lay a finger on any Omegas let it be by action or by words. And if Dennis will win, Luz the Omega will serve Dennis till her last breath."

I rolled my eyes on his introduction about Dennis. That's why I don't want him to officiate he's too bias!

"May we call in our fighters." and we come near to Clarence. Me on his left side and Dennis on his right. "Why don't you backout servant? The kitchen is waiting for you." He's really trying to annoy me. "I'm sorry future Beta the kitchen could wait until I finish kicking your stupid ass where it should be." I smiled and showing him off with confidence. Huh! You think I couldn't fireback? What a shame! "Enough! Let's start the fight now! This will be a hand-to-hand combat. The ones who taps three times on the ground is lost. Or you can admit your lost voluntarily. Other than that you are free to hit any part of the body. Weapons are not allowed. Understood?" We both nod. "Fight!"

I stepped back quickly, remembering that his an attacker type. "Afraid?" he laughs but I just smiled. He went into serious mode and already on his fighting stance. Two closed hands raised up on his chest level as if ready to punch anytime. I just circled him to check how he reacts. I tried to launch forward and step back again. As I did, he's throwing a straight jab on me but didn't reach me. And doing it as I circled him trying to find his blind spot. "Stop dancing servant! You might as well strip while doing that!" he gave me a straight punch on his left, trying to provoke me. And I found it! He's weak on his left. He reacts slower and the punch doesn't have enough impact. I smiled widely showing my full teeth. I stopped "Time to get serious! Are you ready?" He looked at me wide eyed. He must be thinking that I'm joking as I can see he's already sweating while I still look fresh. I lunge forward, he released a straight punch but I ducked and punch him on his abdomen. He stepped back on the impact and hissed at me. I just raised my brows at him taunting him to attack. He moved forward and we are now throwing punches and kicks on each other. Both defend and dodge each others attacks. We parted and both of us were panting. He really is a strong opponent. Eventhough I found his blind spot but it seems he had worked on it. I attacked again, wrong move! He's waiting for me! Too late to backout! I stopped where his arm can reach me but I didn't expect he'll throw a kick on me! It landed on my left cheek cutting the corner of my mouth and blood came out. One thing I don't like is someone touching my face! And how dare he to use his stinky feet! "Okay that's it! You angered me now!" while wiping the blood at the back of my hand. He throw a punch again, this time. I grabbed his hand, change my position that my back is on his body and throw him. Without releasing the other hand I twisted it and sat on his back. He lift his head to catch some air but I wrap my two legs on his neck. Twisting his arm and tightening my legs on his neck he tapped his other free hand three times and released him. " See? Basic!" Yeah! What I use is just a basic move but with enough strength and good timing it really is very effective!

He sat down, still trying to catch his breath. And I'm just looking down at him. "I'm sorry on what I said about you. And to all the Omegas I'll do on what is your condition." I gave him a smile and reached down my hand at him. He grabbed it and stood up. "Good. It's a very nice fight!" still holding his hand and gave him a firm handshake sealing the fight. "I hope you can forgive me." I can sense that he really meant it. "Now you realize that you are really a douchebag. We're all good now." I looked at him. Wait! Is he doing that puppy eyes? "Stop that! You look like the child that I stole the candy from! You make me feel guilty by defeating you!" I teased him. He loosened up and smiled. "Thank you!" he smiled wholeheartedly. "No problem! Gotta go! Omegas duty!" I winked at him and run back to the packhouse.
