The Beta and Luna Talk!!

Luna Evelyn POV

" We start off small with little things to make him doubt her and then we hit them big when the time is right. Am sure the alpha will believe the daughter he raised from birth instead of a bastard he found a few months ago. Luna we need you to push for punishment and justice for Crystal. This is going to be fun!!! " My heart swells with pride with the antics of mine and Joyce's daughters. " We truly raised them right. " I mumbled as I thought of their plan.

" Luna !! " I was brought out of my thoughts as Jack enters my office. I stand up and moved around my desk to face him. I stand up straight with my arms crossed and blankly looked at him so that he can continue. " I thought you said you got rid of the girl. How did he found her? " He said with anger in his tone which I didn't like at all. " Well... I couldn't let her die that easy after everything her mother took from me!! I had her well hidden but tell me this brother, who gave the order to have our offices cleaned? We always have professionals clean it twice a week, why was she here? " I ask in a accusatory tone. Only he being the neat freak he is would ask for cleaning in between. At least he has the decency to look ashamed and blush. As he looks to the floor in a humble manner, he spoke. " I specifically told Julie to clean. " He said frustrated.

" Well that's not important right now, we have to focus on the future. " I said with a triumphant smile. " What do you have in mind? " Jack ask with confusion laced in his words. " Well from she was a baby I had someone feed her silver and wolfsbane and now I just up the dosage. " I said with a sickly sweet smile. " YOU WHATT? " Jack shouted with a shocked expression. " It's only a matter of time before she dies and if she don't she will never be able to shift. " I said in a low growl. " And we have no use for a wolfless, useless girl. " Jack finishes my statement as understanding and realisation dawn's on him.

We stood there in silence each of us contemplating our next course of action.

We stood there for about twenty five minutes in our own worlds when I remember the conversation with our daughters. " That reminds me, I had a very interesting conversation with our daughters. Looks like we raised some very smart she wolves. " I say proudly looking into Jack's eyes. He looked dumbfounded. " What do you mean by that? What did you talk about? Of course they are smart we raised them. What did they do? What did they say? Are they wanting to befriend her? What do they think of her? Do they li... " Jack rattle off in one breathe. " Woah Woah Woah!! Calm down, one question at a time. They came up with a plan. " I said hushing him so that I can talk. " No they don't like her and made a plan all by themselves to get rid of her. " Jack looked at me confused again. It's like the only face he can make is a confused one.

" They should be sowing discord today. They are really smart and know how to cover themselves. We just have to wait and support them. " I say with a smile on my face as I make my way to my desk and sit down. " What are they going to do? " Jack asked curious about the ideas of our daughters. " They are going to make the alpha distrust his daughter. All we need to do is guide them and help from time to time. Relax they got this. They explained everything to me and let me tell you now, it's brilliant!! " I say with full confidence. " Trust in our daughters, you can do that right Jackie boy. Trust in our blood. " I look at my big brother with pure determination and resolved in my eyes. " Okay okay okay Evie bear. I will trust our blood. " Jack answered after 5 minutes of silence. He now has a new since of determination and resolve shown bright in his eyes. After saying that he left.

" Well finally some peace and quiet. I should finish this work and then take the little b***h clothes shopping. Got to keep up appearances. " I scoff as I think of this ridiculous situation Rowan put me in. I already got rid of her mother, now I have to deal with the daughter. We had a happy life before they came along and he ruined it. Not only had I have to feel the pains of betrayal but I had to see all their happiness. My chosen mate choosing his mate over me too many times to count. He thought I was just going to let him play happy family after everything he put me through. I still remember the first time I felt the pain of betrayal. I had just finished putting Crystals to sleep. I had just given birth.

Flashback Luna Evelyn POV

" Uhhh am soo tired. No one warned me that second children would be soo active. " I mumbled to myself , as I took off my clothes to take a shower. Ten minutes later am in my bedroom about to take a nap. I just closed my eyes my eyes when my lips started burning. My throat started seizing up and it's like swallowed a pot filled with acid, needles and lime juice. I couldn't breathe and tears streamed down my face.

" What the hell is he doing? " I screamed at the top of my lungs. The pain hit me like a tidal wave simultaneously at my lips, down my throat and up my arms before exploding around my pelvis. Then my mark started burning. " NO NO NO NO NO!! HE MARKED HER!! " I scream and cry as loud as I can. My son RJ ran into my room with the maids, nanny, beta Jack and Gamma Gary. " Mommy Mommy are you okay? " RJ says with tears in his eyes. I give him a small tight smile before black dots danced across my eyes and his face becomes blurry. Echoes of worried voices is all I hear before darkness consumes me.

Present day

I sat in my office trying to focus on my work but past memories keep playing in my head. Time flew by so fast and I barely got any work done. I clocked out and went to my bedroom to take a shower. Am exhausted from the memories that consumed me all day and just wanted to rest. I lied down and went to bed and drifted off to a dreamless sleep.
